Terms of Use
Last updated: August 11, 2026
doublechin is provided by the person or entity identified as the application provider on its App Store listing ("doublechin," "we," or "us"). By using doublechin, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
The service
doublechin lets two paired people share short daily dual-camera clips, react to clips, pick songs, and create private couple memories. The app may also show in-app announcements and optional questions; you choose whether to respond.
Age and consent
You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live if higher, to use doublechin. By creating an account or continuing to use the app, you confirm that you meet this age requirement, agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy, and consent to your personal data, including account data, settings, videos, audio, reports, app activity, purchase state, diagnostics, optional in-app responses, optional location used for timezone setup, and other content you create, being transferred to, stored in, and processed in the United States and elsewhere in North America. If you are outside those locations, you understand that privacy protections there may differ from those where you live and that doublechin cannot provide the service without this transfer.
Your account and content
- You are responsible for your account and for keeping your login secure.
- You keep ownership of the content you create.
- You give us a limited license to host, store, process, transmit, display to your paired partner, back up, moderate, remove, and export your content only as needed to provide, protect, operate, support the app, and enforce these Terms.
- You are responsible for having the rights and consent needed to record, upload, share, or export your content, including consent from anyone who appears or is heard in your clips.
- We do not use your private videos or audio to train facial recognition, voice recognition, advertising, or generative AI models.
- Your paired partner may be able to view, react to, export, or share copies of content available in your couple space. Once content is exported or shared outside doublechin, we cannot control what the recipient does with it.
Acceptable use
Do not create, store, or share content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, threatening, hateful, sexually exploitative of minors, non-consensual, pornographic, invasive of privacy, infringing, or otherwise violates another person's rights. doublechin is not for nudity, sexual activity, pornographic content, hidden-camera recording, coercion, blackmail, or sharing another person's content outside the app without their explicit consent. We do not tolerate objectionable content or abusive behavior.
Reporting and safety
doublechin is private, invite-only, and limited to one paired partner at a time. You can block future access by using Block / unpair partner in Settings. You can report safety, privacy, content, or support issues in the app or by emailing support@doublechinapp.com. We aim to review reports promptly and may remove content, disconnect a pair, preserve evidence, or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
For reports involving non-consensual intimate content, sexual content, or any content involving minors, email support@doublechinapp.com with enough detail for us to identify the account, pair, or clip. We prioritize these reports and may report child sexual abuse material or credible safety threats to appropriate authorities where required or permitted by law.
Purchases
Triple Chin subscriptions are handled through Apple in-app purchase. The subscription renews monthly until canceled. You can manage or cancel subscriptions through your Apple Account settings. Deleting your doublechin account does not automatically cancel an Apple subscription.
Apple terms
Where Apple makes the app available, Apple's Standard End User License Agreement applies unless App Store Connect shows a separate custom EULA. Apple is not responsible for providing maintenance or support for doublechin. Apple and Apple's subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these terms where required by Apple platform rules.
Music
Song previews are provided by third-party services such as Deezer for personal, non-commercial use within the app. You are responsible for how you use any compilation you export.
Termination
You may delete your account at any time (Settings → Account → Delete account). We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
Disclaimers and limitation of liability
The app is provided as is and as available. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, whether express, implied, or statutory, and do not guarantee that doublechin will always be available, uninterrupted, secure, or free from errors or data loss. Keep your own copies of anything important.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, doublechin and its application provider will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of content, profits, revenue, business, goodwill, or data, arising from or related to the app or these Terms. Our total aggregate liability for all claims arising from or related to the app or these Terms will not exceed the greater of US$50 or the amount you paid for doublechin during the 12 months before the event giving rise to the claim. These limitations apply regardless of the legal theory and even if we were advised that the loss was possible or a remedy fails of its essential purpose.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, intentional misconduct, gross negligence, personal injury, or any warranty, remedy, statutory consumer right, or other liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited in your jurisdiction.
Changes
We may update these terms; continued use after changes means you accept them.
